Professional Associations

Education Exchange is used by a number of professional associations to manage their member's continuing education obligations.

When a Professional Association is added to your Education Portfolio you can

a. Include their workshops and activities in your workshop calendar

b. Request a notification advising

  1. Whether you are meeting the continuing education requirements of the association
  2. Details of any activities scheduled in the next six weeks that will assist you meet an association's continuing education requirements

Notifications can be sent every month or only when you are at risk of not meeting the associations continuing education requirements.

To add a Professional Association to your Education Portfolio

1. Sign on to Education Exchange. (Use the Sign in button at the bottom left of this page)
2. Navigate to the Professional Memberships link, located on the left hand side of the My Details page.
3. Select Add New Membership
4. Select from the list of Professional Associations then press Next
5. Select the membership type and Save

Access Authorities

An Access Authority authorises the sharing of your data.

You can share data held in your Education Portfolio with your Professional Association. By sharing the data you can maintain one Education Portfolio and satisfy reporting requirements for employers, dealer group and professional associations.

If you select an Access Authority the information that will be visible to the other party is displayed before you approve it

The other party will not be able to view any information added to your Education Portfolio after you cancel an Access Authority.
